Whipped up these 3-ingredient banana brownies with the kids – so easy, so fudgy, and totally guilt-free! Topped them with berries and chocolate chips for a fun little treat we all loved
Ingredients:
- 270 g ripe peeled bananas (2 large or 3 small)
- 130 g nut butter (about ½ cup almond, peanut, or cashew butter)
- 30 g unsweetened cocoa powder (about ⅓ cup)
- Optional sweetener:
– 1 tablespoon maple syrup or
– 1 teaspoon erythritol (or other granulated sweetener, to taste)
Toppings (optional but delicious!):
- 100 g berries (about ½ cup, fresh or frozen)
- 20 g dark chocolate chips (about 2 tablespoons)
- 20 g chopped nuts (about 2 tablespoons)
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 380°F (195°C).
- In a bowl, mash the bananas until smooth.
- Stir in nut butter and cocoa powder until you get a thick, smooth batter.
- Add sweetener if using, and mix again.
- Pour the batter into a baking dish lined with parchment paper (an 8×8 inch pan works well).
- Sprinkle with berries, chocolate chips, and chopped nuts.
- Bake for 30–35 minutes, until the top is firm and a bit cracked.
